Promoting, Preserving and Advancing Missouri Manufacturing Since 1993

Manufacturing is the backbone of Missouri’s economy, and for more than three decades, the Missouri Association of Manufacturers (MAM) has worked to support the companies that keep the Show Me State making things. As the only organization dedicated to representing Missouri manufacturers, MAM exists to bring lasting value to an industry that fuels innovation, jobs and communities across our state.

A Foundation of Relationships

Supporting manufacturers means meeting them where they are. MAM representatives travel Missouri’s highways and gravel roads to visit facilities in person, learning firsthand what manufacturers make, the challenges they face and the successes they achieve. To date, MAM has visited more than 330 manufacturing facilities statewide. Trust and collaboration form a culture of connection that helps us bring our state’s manufacturers together. By building strong partnerships, hosting events and creating opportunities for meaningful engagement, MAM strengthens Missouri’s manufacturing community while amplifying its collective voice.

Leading the Way on Sustainable Manufacturing

MAM helps manufacturers stay competitive through sustainability leadership. In partnership with Missouri State University’s Ozarks Environmental and Water Resources Institute, MAM developed the Missouri Manufacturing Sustainability Certification Program, which helps companies reduce waste, conserve energy and save money while earning recognition for their efforts.

Supporting Our Members

Membership in MAM provides access to valuable resources, including health insurance and retirement plans, peer groups, workforce development, best-practice sharing, advocacy, training, certifications and industry expertise. All of our initiatives are designed to ensure that Missouri manufacturers will continue to thrive, both today and into the future.
